It's early, but Bennie Coney has a leader. The junior quarterback from Plant City, Fla., holds a verbal scholarship offer from Notre Dame and has the Irish out in front thanks to some close influences. Coney is teammates with commit Jordan Prestwood and has a strong relationship with Tony Alford. Coney wants to get a look at Notre Dame soon.
