Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer defensive end Christopher Wormley named Michigan his leader before the summer began, but the 6-6, 270-pound prospect held off on making his commitment to the Wolverines official until this past weekend.

Michigan was Wormley's favorite team growing up, but the Wolverines were not a lock to secure his commitment. Ohio State made a strong run at Wormley and looked to be the team to beat around National Signing Day.
