New York RB has IU on top after visit

Peegs.com In early January it appeared that Laray Smith was all set to commit to Syracuse, but after a coaching change in the Orange football program the three-star prospect decided to hold off on making a decision. That turn of events has benefitted Indiana because the Hoosiers are now the number one school for the 6-foot-1, 185-pound running back after his official visit to Bloomington this weekend. Peegs.com spoke with the Brooklyn (N.Y.) Xaverian H.S. standout about his trip to IU and about where things stand with his recruiting at this time.
