Hawks lead for Hilliard
Cincinnati running back C.J. Hilliard has heard a lot about Iowa since picking up an offer from the Hawkeyes in March, but this weekend had a chance to see it in person for the first time. As the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Hilliard made his way home with his family on Saturday night, it was clear that the trip definitely made a lasting impression.
"It was awesome," said Hilliard. "I loved it. Leaving there, that's my number one choice right now. Everything about it is what I'm looking for in a school - great academics, great coaching staff, great football program, great campus life, and great fans. It lived up to all the hype."
Hilliard made the drive to Iowa on Friday with his parents and his younger brother, Justin Hilliard, who is a Class of 2015 prospect that Iowa has also offered.
