1. | Florida | Stock: |
The Gators received news early Sunday that four-star athlete Burt Reed was officially off the commitment list. However, that still hasn't hurt UF too much. The Gators still have a strong lead for the No. 1 spot. |
2. | Tennessee | Stock: |
The Vols are positioned to finish in the top five no matter what happens on Signing Day. Five-star recruits Eric Berry, Chris Donald, Ben Martin, Kenny O'Neal and Brent Vinson are big reasons why.

3. | Texas | Stock: |
The Longhorns might get a nice bump if Christian Scott heads their way later today, but at this point it pretty much looks like this UT class is in place. Texas should rank somewhere in the national top five.

4. | LSU | Stock: |
Of anybody in the top five, LSU has the most big-time guys in play. They're in the running for Christian Scott, Joe McKnight, Chad Jones and Stefoin Francois - all elite recruits. Landing Sidell Corley was also big.

5. | Southern California | Stock: |
The Trojans got a major commitment Sunday afternoon when Ronald Johnson of Michigan announced he was heading to the West Coast. The Trojans also have some major guys left on the board that could come their way down the stretch.

6. | Notre Dame | Stock: |
The Irish seem to be in the hunt for a solid top-10 spot come Wednesday. At this point, Notre Dame's ranking depends on what happens with other teams because the Irish appear to be done with the class of 2007. Charlie Weis and his staff are already looking ahead to 2008.

7. | South Carolina | Stock: |
The Gamecocks' class is set, and it's going to go down as one of the best classes South Carolina has signed in quite some time. Steve Spurrier and Co. did a great job this year. |
8. | Georgia | Stock: |
The Bulldogs put together a tremendous class. It's a group that filled a lot of needs with big-time playmakers, especially along the offensive line.

9. | Auburn | Stock: |
Another SEC team that did great this season. Tommy Tuberville and his staff put locked up players at a number of different positions.

10. | Nebraska | Stock: |
This might not rank as high nationally as the 2005 class, but this is still Bill Callahan's best effort since he has been in Lincoln.

11. | Oregon | Stock: |
The Ducks have made a vast improvement over last year's class. Adding four-star athlete Malachi Lewis was huge last week.

12. | Michigan | Stock: |
The Wolverines moved up to the top spot in the Big Ten late last week after they added Donovan Warren to the commitment list. That was one of the big recruiting shockers of the year. Missing out on home-state talent like Ronald Johnson has to be disappointing.

13. | Alabama | Stock: |
The Tide has done a great job down the stretch. The biggest key now is to see if they can keep Kerry Murphy committed. The can't lose him to Miami. Three-star safety Terrance Farmer out of Houston was a monster steal, too.

14. | Illinois | Stock: |
Ron Zook proved once again that he's one of the nation's elite recruiters. This class is deep, loaded and diverse. Five-star defensive Martez Wilson will be a star for the Illini.

15. | Ohio State | Stock: |
The Buckeyes did not have a lot of scholarships available, but they landed several quality players. Adding four-star defensive tackle Cameron Heyward last week was big.

16. | Clemson | Stock: |
The Tigers did well early and have remained steady down the stretch. If they're able to steal away five-star receiver Dwight Jones from North Carolina, it would be a great last-minute present.

17. | Ole Miss | Stock: |
The Rebels have put together a great class, despite losing junior college cornerback Allen Bell to Iowa State recently. Ole Miss also remains in the hunt to land Joe McKnight, but the Rebels haven't been talked about much in the battle for the nation's No. 2 player.

18. | Georgia Tech | Stock: |
The Yellow Jackets lost out on Cedric Everson, and that loss does sting. But this is still a very good collective effort for Tech. The Jackets did a great job all across the board at a number of positions.

19. | Virginia | Stock: |
The Cavs have been quiet recently, with the addition of Jared Green being the exception. The foundation of this class was laid much earlier.

20. | Oklahoma | Stock: |
The Sooners were struggling after missing out on a few players and having Tyler Stradford bolt for Southern Miss. Stradford came back, and now the Sooners picked up steam with new additions like Alex Williams, Sam Proctor and David Anderson.

21. | Penn State | Stock: |
This class has been in place for quite some time, but there are still a few names left on the board for the Nittany Lions - like USC commitment Broderick Green. The addition of Chimaeze Okoli last week was also big.

22. | Miami | Stock: |
You knew Miami would make a late run under coach Randy Shannon. Picking up Robert Marve was big, and names like Kerry Murphy and Charles Clay could push the Hurricanes even higher.

23. | Pittsburgh | Stock: |
The Panthers have been quiet the past few weeks, with the most recent commit coming from Sherod Murdock. Still it's a solid top 25 class all the way around.

24. | California | Stock: |
The Bears will finish in the top 25 for the fifth consecutive season, something that's hard to replicate in the competitive Pac 10. Defensive end Cameron Jordan was a nice pickup last week.

25. | Virginia Tech | Stock: |
The Hokies added long-snapper Collin Carroll, but it's been rather quiet since then. Landing Chimaeze Okoli would have been nice, though.
