Orange fans don't know what type of quarterback sophomore Andrew Robinson will be. Some are optimistic given his promising high school career. Some are skeptical because of how little experience Robinson had last season.
And although even the Orange players themselves won't truly know what Robinson can do as a quarterback until he steps under center against Washington in the Orange's first game, they have learned what type of person he is.
"He is a very competitive guy," receiver Taj Smith said of Robinson during the Big East's annual media day in Newport, Rhode Island. "I want to do everything I can so he has confidence in me."
Smith, who is returning after missing eight games last season with a broken collar bone, could end up being Robinson's main target when he drops back in the pocket this fall.
