Colorado QB likes the Big 12
Denver Mullen is one of the top teams in the state of Colorado, annually producing numerous Division I prospects. The latest in that line appears to be junior quarterback Jonny Miller.
Though he has yet to pick up his first offer, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound passer has garnered interest from quite a few programs as of late. One school seems like it could be on the verge of extending a scholarship.
"I've been talking to Texas A&M and I think they might offer me pretty soon," said Miller. "I've also been talking to Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Colorado and some other schools too."
While the Aggies do not typically recruit the state of Colorado, Miller has a longstanding relationship with Zac Taylor, A&M's graduate assistant in charge of offensive quality control. The former Nebraska quarterback and son-in-law of Aggie head coach Mike Sherman made an impression on him a few years back.
