Swayze Hoping to Add More to First Offer

PURCELL, Okla. - While the state of Oklahoma may be chocked full of quarterbacks with division one talents like Kendal Thompson of Southmoore, Broken Arrow's Archie Bradley, Cody Miller of Lawton, Del City's Chazten Gonzales, and Midwest City's Greg Austin there is one headliner after another under center in the Sooner State's class of 2011.

One name that could be uttered in that same context a year from now is Purcell, Okla. 2012 dual-threat quarterback Cole Swayze.

Already eclipsing 2,000 total yards as a varsity starter the 6-foot-2, 170-pound dual-threat quarterback, who garners an offer from Oklahoma State, returns to the field healthy for the first time in awhile.

"It feels great to be healthy again and be able to go full speed and let it out," says Swayze. "I had a leg injury my freshmen year and it wasn't 100-percent last year. But its good to finally get back over that and be able go 100-percent again."
