Gibson's Versatility Will Grab Attention
As sophomores plenty of players show promise but it's during a player's junior year that he starts to become a very real college prospect. Such was very much the case for Tulsa East Central two-way star Damian Gibson who was talked about around the Cardinal program as a player with real potential but needed to learn to be an every down player.
As a junior it's something the 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect realized he had to address if he wanted to reach the level of a college recruit that he'd like to be.
"I kind of think that at times, I know I shouldn't have taken a play off and at times I think I did and I tried to make up for it. That's just a mental thing, last year as a sophomore you can't take plays because you are tired and that's my coach said that's one thing you need to work on and I tried to improve on those things," Gibson explained.
