PA safety remains interested in the Black Knights

If there is a position where the Army coaching staff seems to pull in quality talent, it's at safety and staff is working diligently to ensure that the trend continues for the 2012 recruiting.

Hard hitting safety Okezie Alozie from Bethlehem (Pa.) Freedom High School, remains a constant fixture on the Black Knights' radar screen and Alozie continues to express his interest in the the Black Knights.

The 6-foot-0, 200 pound safety/linebacker already has offers from Army Navy, Liberty and VMI and with a solid senior campaign, he could pull in a few more.

Alozie, who has already taken unofficial visits to West Virginia, Akron, Temple and recently visited Navy this past weekend.

The visit was good," Alozie says of his visit to the Annapolis campus in Maryland. "I got a chance to see the campus, met with all the coaches, they liked me and I got to watch their scrimmage. I saw some good things, so I would say it went fairly well."

But the Pennsylvania prospect, who is being recruited by Army's Tucker Waugh, also plans on taking a visit to West Point.

"My relationship with Coach Waugh ... it's coming along good and I'm trying to figure out my schedule so I can take an unofficial there for one their games," he adds.

"I've been to New York, but never been to West Point, so I'm looking forward to that."

Alozie, who maintains a 3.3 GPA overall has started two-a-days with his teammates and kickoff their 2011 season September 2nd. will continue to follow Alozie's recruiting throughout his senior year.
