Eric Amoako focused on season
Last weekend Martin H.S. CB Eric Amoako took his official visit to Oregon and for all intents and purposes ended his recruiting process except for signing day. Duck Sports Authority caught up with Amoako to get his thoughts on his officail visit and how it feels to have recruiting wrapped up.
"It's pretty cool being committed because you can just focus on your team this year and just help them win," said Amoako. "I set some goals for myself this season. Last year I had sixty tackles and I moved to corner this year but I'd still like to get 40 tackles and I'd like to get 4 picks. I had three last year. And I'd like to go undefeated and win a district championship and take that on to state."
Amoako and his twin brother Stephen Amoako took there official visits last weekend and Eric gave us some of his thoughts about the visit.
"It was a really good trip. We sat down witht the nutritionist and we did a couple of flexibility things so they could see where we would be in a couple of years and it was pretty cool just seeing what players you were compared to. My current player was Eddie Pleasant and my player in the NFL was Jarius Byrd. I'm a pretty big fan of his so that was pretty cool.
