Black Knights remain in the lead for Dewitt

There is little doubt that the Black Knights have offensive lineman Brandon Dewitt out Lawton (OK) Lawton High School as one their top of chart recruits for the class of 2012.

The 6-foot-2, 275 pounder, who was recently named to the All-State team, made it clear that Army is in the lead for his service, but that other schools continue to show strong interest and even newer school are now taking a serious peak at the talented offensive lineman.

"Louisiana Tech called yesterday and they said that it's possible that I may get an offer from them," declares Dewitt.

Then I'm visiting Sam Houston on the 13th (January), Dartmouth on the 20th and if I get an offer from Louisiana Tech, that visit would be the last week of January."

Dewitt has already made his way to the West Point campus for both an unofficial and official visit (December 3rd) to Army.

"I spoke to Coach Mumford (Army) yesterday," adds Dewitt. "He was just seeing how my holidays went and how his went as well."

When asked if there any timeframe around making his college decision, Dewitt had this to offer.

"I'm taking all my official visits before I make my final decision," shares Dewitt, who was named Offensive Lineman of the Year for Class 6A in Oklahoma.
