The Buckeyes are sitting at 15 strong for the class of 2013 and there is still a lot of debate how deep the class will be able to go. Many people believe that the clsas could go as deep as 20 and that would allow the Buckeyes to accept five more pledges.

There still are about 20 names or so that are being mentioned with medium or more 'legitimate' interest in the Buckeyes and have the interest returned in kind from the Bucks. We won't touch upon every player in our updates so if you don't see your favorite player listed, it does not mean that they are not on our radar and shouldn't be on yours.

We are taking a look at a half-a-dozen that are being talked about today and make our best predictions at this point in time on where we see them landing.

Player Considering Givler Noon
Mike Mitchell

LB - Plano (TX)
Ohio State, Florida State, TCU

Givler's Take: There was a ton of buzz surrounding Mitchell and Ohio State at 'The Opening' two weeks ago and while things have calmed down a little bit, Mitchell is still expected to make his college announcement at Gridiron Kings next week. Mitchell has kept quiet in the media throughout his recruitment but this one should come down to Ohio State, Florida State, and TCU. The Buckeyes still have to be considered the team to beat as there really hasn't been any new information since Mitchell's standout performance at The Opening.

Donovan Munger

DT - Shaker Hts. (OH)
Ohio State, Nebraska, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Auburn, Others

Givler's Take: Munger is not someone that has done a lot of interviews recently but Ohio State continues to find itself in solid position with one of Ohio's top defensive linemen. Munger is expected to be in Columbus for the 'Friday Night Lights' Camp later this week and his appearance at the camp would certainly be a good sign for the Buckeyes. Notre Dame seems to be the program that poses the biggest threat to Ohio State and I would go as far to say that it's pretty much a two team race at this stage. .

Shelton Gibson

WR - Cleveland Hts. (OH)
Ohio State, Auburn, Nebraska, NC State, Pittsburgh, West Virginia

Givler's Take: Like Munger, Gibson has sort of went underground the last few months after it appeared he was close to making a decision between Ohio State and Auburn. Gibson was the first class of 2013 Ohioan to be offered by Urban Meyer as head coach at Ohio State and the Buckeyes and Gibson have remained in contact. Word is that Gibson could make an appearance at Ohio State for the Friday Night Lights camp this week and if he does that would be a big sign as Gibson just hasn't been very active in terms of camps and visits. This recruitment remains pretty fluid but right now the smart money is still on the Buckeyes.

James Quick

WR - Louisville (KY)
Ohio State, Louisville, Oregon, Kentucky, Missouri

Givler's Take: Quick continues to list a top three in order of Louisville, Ohio State, and Oregon. Like Mitchell, Quick has kept pretty quiet in the media about his recruitment but the general feeling is that he will not venture far from his home in Louisville. This puts much longer odds on Oregon and makes things more of a two-team race between Louisville and Ohio State. After a visit to Columbus back in the spring, there was some buzz that the Buckeyes had made a big move but that has died down over the last 2-3 months and it looks more and more like Louisville will be the winner in this race.

Vonn Bell

LB - Rossville (GA)
Ohio State, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Clemson, Vanderbilt

Givler's Take: Bell has made multiple unofficial visits to Columbus over the last few months and his interest in Ohio State is genuine. Still, the distance from home could be playing a major factor in this race and with local schools like Tennessee and Georgia making a strong push, this one could be trending away from the Buckeyes. If Bell decides to wait things out until after the season, that could help Ohio State if Tennessee and/or Georgia struggle but it also opens the door for one of those schools to have a big year and seal the deal for one of the nation's top safeties.

Taquan Minzell

WR - Va. Beach (VA)
Ohio State, Virginia, Clemson, Notre Dame, West Virginia

Givler's Take: Mizzell continues to make cuts to his top schools list and Ohio State has survived every single one up until this point. Currently 'Smoke' is claiming a final group of five that consists of Clemson, North Carolina, Ohio State, Virginia, and West Virginia. Mizzell has never seemed like a prospect that would venture too far from home and the other four schools on his list are significantly closer to his Virginia Beach home.
