Denver QB ready to decide?

Denver (CO) Mullen quarterback Jonny Miller has lived in Colorado all of his life, but one of his new offers from the east coast has him excited.

"Syracuse offered me earlier this month," Miller said. "I was excited. I was very happy that they offered. I wanted them to offer and they did and I am just excited about it."

Miller, 6-foot-2, 215 pounds was not raised knowing a lot about Syracuse, but his father has a connection back to the east.

"My dad is from back east. I have not grown up liking Syracuse or anything like that. I have not grown up disliking them. I just did not know much about them growing up out here. Now I know about the tradition and that they are trying to get back to a winning way like they used to have. I know they beat Nebraska in the early eighties when Nebraska was number one in the country. I just know that Syracuse is capable of winning."

Other than those few minor points Miller is still looking to learn as much as he can about Syracuse. When it comes to the staff that the Orange have now Miller feels a great connection.

"Basically so far from what I have heard from the coaches, I really like them and that is pretty much all I know right now. I know I am going to take a visit out there, I have heard it is great."

After reviewing film and meeting Miller what do the Syracuse coaches like about him?

"They just like my arm strength, my feet, release, delivery, and all that. Pretty much just how I control a game everything like that they like."

The Colorado product holds three offers and more are likely on the way. Two of the schools that have offered however are being held in high regard.

"Right now it is Wisconsin and Syracuse; those are pretty much what I am thinking right now. I have been to Wisconsin and I have not been to Syracuse yet."

As for a decision for Miller the time could possibly come soon.

"I want to get it over with and I want to find that school I really like and commit to them. Definitely pretty soon."
