2025 defensive lineman Sharlandiin Strange announced his commitment to Syracuse on Saturday afternoon, he announced on social media.
Strange held over 20 offers, and had whittled his list down to a final five of the Orange, Pitt, Penn State, Rutgers and USC.
Strange is a four-star recruit out of Cheltenham in Pennsylvania. Strange officially visited Syracuse earlier in the month, and said the visit went 'great' in an interview with The Juice Online.
While on campus, he checked out a Syracuse basketball game, in which SU took down Miami on a buzzer beating 3-pointer.
"My favorite part was most definitely the basketball game," Strange said.
The Keystone State star is the first commitment of Syracuse's 2025 class.
