Syracuse landed the fourth ranked prospect in 2022 with the commitment of Dior Johnson. To go more in depth on what Johnson means to Syracuse CuseConfidential.com had a round table to talk with Rivals.com recruiting analysts Corey Evans, Eric Bossi, and CuseConfidential.com Publisher Ryan Murray.

Corey Evans: "It is huge. Beyond his talent level alone, Johnson is one of the more marketable, outgoing kids in the entire sport. He is someone that loves the bright lights and the attention and is going to do all he can to recruit many others to come and join him in the coming years. He also, depending on what Jim Boeheim does, gives a greater pathway towards success of Boeheim is anywhere near retirement."

Eric Bossi: "He is a tremendous pickup and he is very popular among others in his class, he's the type that can hopefully get in some guy's ear. He's crafty, has a special skill level and is a lot of fun to watch. Obviously, he's moved around a bit during high school so keeping that commitment is going to be key and the G League Pathway is undoubtedly going to target him as a guy to try and persuade to skip college. But, for sure, having him committed already is huge."

Ryan Murray: "What Corey and Eric said I think is spot on. Dior is as talented as they come, but it is the off court intangibles that could play big. Johnson reminds me of a Jonny Flynn type of player who other players want to play with and be around. The class of 2022 with Johnson could remind many of that class led by Flynn and Donte Greene.
