Eric Devendorf part of finalized Orange 8 ABL exhibition roster
Former Syracuse star guard Eric Devendorf is part of a finalized SU alumni team, Orange 8, which will take on Dawgtalk, a Georgetown alumni squad, on Sunday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. at the SRC Arena & Events Center in Syracuse.
Other players on the Orange 8 roster include CJ Fair, Chris McCullough, John Gillon, Malachi Richardson, Paul Harris, Rick Jackson and Jimmy Boeheim.
Dawgtalk, led by general manager/player Chris Wright, features former Hoyas Aaron Bowen, D’Vauntes Smith Rivera, Greg Monroe, Henry Sims, Jagan Mosely, Jason Clark and Rodney Pryor.
I spoke with Devendorf on this week's The Juice on the Cuse Podcast, presented by Rivals.com, and he talked about how he put the roster together, what it means to be playing against Georgetown again, and appearing in front of the SU fans one more time.
"We're happy to come back to Cuse and put on the jersey one more time and compete," he said.

Meanwhile, Devendorf has two more camps lined up for later in the summer. The first will be his Legends Hoops Camp on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 9 p.m. at the Solvay Communtiy Center. He's hosting in in tandem with former Syracuse and NBA forward Tyler Lydon.
The other will be his Nike Basketball Camp at Tipp Hill Community Center from Aug. 28 - 31. Both camps aim to help players of all abilities develop athletically, and refine fundamental basketball skills.
