New Mexico Transfer Dion Wilson Jr. commits to Syracuse

New Mexico State defensive lineman Dion Wilson Jr. committed to Syracuse on Monday evening, he announced on social media.

In 2023, he finished with, 31 tackles and 2.0 sacks. He entered the portal in December and Syracuse, Cal, Indiana, Texas A&M and Rutgers all extended offers.

Wilson spent three seasons at Arizona before transferring to the Aggies for the 2023 season.

Wilson will also take an official visit to Syracuse this week.

“I am aggressive DT that likes to play vertical, chase down the ball and make plays,” Wilson said to The Juice Online in a previous interview.
