Podcast: Braheem Long commits, Willie Goodacre visits

It's been another big week in the Syracuse football recruiting world. The Orange received commitments from 2024 tight end Jamie Tremble, quarterback Brendan Zurbrugg, and on Tuesday, from defensive back Braheem Long.

Long, a three-star prospect from Camden (NJ) High, selected the Orange over offers from West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Boston College, among others.

Long details his decision with me on this week's The Juice on the Cuse Podcast, presented by Rivals.com. He also talks about his relationship with Alijah 'Cinco' Clark, his high school, and future college teammate, the heavy New Jersey presence in Syracuse's 2024 class to date (SU commits Travon Dye, Trashon Dye and Zekai Wimberly all hail from the Garden State), and what the coaching staff expects from him in their 3-3-5 defense.

Afterward, three-star Texas offensive lineman Willie Goodacre calls in to discuss his official visit to Central New York over the weekend. He tells me that the Orange coaching staff has made it very clear to him that he is a priority recruit. Goodacre will take an official visit to Kansas before making his decision on June 26.
