With Syracuse on a four-game losing streak and the season seemingly spinning out of hand, there's been a growing chorus of Syracuse fans and alumni calling for a coaching change with Dino Babers. That demand hit a fevered pitch after SU's four straight blowout loss to Virginia Tech on Thursday, 38-10.

It prompted some alumni, including some former players that were coached by Babers, to openly question whether he should be back in the 2024 season. With that in mind, we caught up with former Syracuse and NFL punter Brendan Carney.

The three-time All Big East punter and former Syracuse captain understand where the frustration is coming from, and has felt the same frustration himself. But he also understands there are four games left in the season for the Orange to make back-to-back bowl games for the first time since 2013, he said on this week's The Juice on the Cuse Podcast, presented by Rivals.com.

"If the last four games are any indication of how the rest of the season is going to go, not getting to a bowl game, I think (John) Wildhack is on the clock, and he's going to have to make a big decision there. So really, the stakes are high this weekend against Boston College. This is the must-win game of all must-win games."

Afterward, The Juice Online's Jim Stechschulte calls in to go in-depth into the 2023-24 Syracuse basketball season, including his projected starting lineup, rotation, and his keys to a successful season.
