Podcast: Bruce Williams talks Syair Torrence, upcoming CBA playoffs

Syracuse (NY) Christian Brothers Academy is in the midst of a dream season. The Brothers are 11-0 and coming off a win over Cicero-North Syracuse for the Sectional Championship and are aiming for another New York State Championship.

I spoke with CBA assistant coach Bruce Williams on this week's The Juice on the Cuse Podcast, presented by Rivals.com. Williams, who starred at Syracuse where he was captain in 2008 and played both offense and defense, talks about CBA's season and what they hope to accomplish in the playoffs.

He also discusses the latest in Syair Torrence's recruitment. The one-time Syracuse commit recently decommitted from Michigan State. We also spoke about 2025 WR Daunte Bacheyie, who holds a Syracuse offer, as well as Marquan Sadler, Matthew Hawn and Darien Williams, who have emerged as high-major college prospects.

Afterward, TJO editor in chief Brad Bierman calls in to talk about Syracuse's 24-point comeback against Colgate earlier in the week, and SU football's upcoming matchup with Georgia Tech.
