"Great to get back on track. A win over Georgia Tech next week and the Cuse are bowl bound again. A game at Yankee Stadium, 150 yards rushing from your TE, and a backflip by your QB. It was a good day."

"Syracuse had a great win over Pitt. About 400 yards in total and 380 of those yards on the ground is crazy. Everyone did their job. Dan Villari had over 150 yards rushing as a tight end which was also spectacular. The coaches came into the game with a game plan and executed it perfectly to come out with the win."

"We needed that win. Pitt wasn’t expecting our tight end who used to play quarterback to be sitting back at wildcat. I think it was clever of Cuse to bring something different to get this W. It was a triple threat spreading the ball between Garrett Shrader, Villari and LeQuint Allen."

"I think it was a HUGE W! A lot of people got to see what Cuse football is really about. I know some guys that were on the other side of the ball for Pitt and seeing two great teams compete and Cuse come out on top was exciting."

"It was good to Garrett Shrader back in the lineup The offense played a physical style of football. The receivers blocking down the field showed unselfish football. The rushing game was dominant with 382 yards on the ground led by Shrader and Villari."
