Syracuse kicker Andre Szmyt signed an UDFA deal with the Chicago Bears.

The 2018 Lou Groza Award winner finished his Syracuse career 13th in FBS history and fourth in ACC history in scoring, with 454 points.

He cemented his legacy with the Orange as being the most accurate kicker in program history (81 percent), and his 85 career field goals rank sixth in FBS history.

Chicago finished 3-14 on the season, and lost 13 of its final 14 games, including a franchise-record 10-game losing sterak.

Still, the Bears have hope for the future, as second-year quarterback Justin Fields had a breakout season, becoming the third quarterback in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.

Chicago picked offensive lineman Darnell Wright with the 11th overall pick in the Draft, one of 10 draft picks the Bears had.
