2024 forward Damarius Owens

Last week, 2024 three-star forward Damarius Owens dropped his top 3 schools, which included Syracuse, Marquette and Virginia Tech. The Western Reserve Academy (OH) prospect has visited all three schools, and on Saturday, On3 Sports' Joe Tipton reported Owens will announce his decision on Wednesday. Owens is originally from the Rochester area, roughly an hour from The Hill. If Owens commits, he would join sharpshooting New York City guard Elijah Moore.

2026 forward Maximo Adams

Does the last name look familiar? It should. The 2026 Harbor City (CA) High guard is one of the fastest rising prospects in his class, and is the younger brother of 2024 Syracuse target Marcus Adams Jr. Maximo Adams is certainly making a name for himself, and scooped up an offer from Syracuse over the weekend. That adds to an offer list that already includes Xavier, Oregon and Kansas State, among others.

Syracuse football offers

Over in the football world, the Syracuse coaching staff was busy as well.

We start in the class of 2023. Recruits can still sign with colleges through April, and Syracuse continues to recruit ahead of the deadline. The Orange offered wide receiver Max Perricone an ATH (DB/WR) from Cheshire (CT) Academy, adding to an offer sheet that included Sacred Heart. The Juice Online's Charles Kang spoke to him after he landed his offer, and he calls Syracuse a 'favorite.'

Moving to the class of 2024, the Orange offered wide receiver Sage Clawges from St. Thomas More (CT). That adds to an offer list that includes Penn State, ODU and UPenn.

Another wide receiver in 2024 SU is recruiting is Jason Robinson Jr. from Long Beach (CA) Poly High. Syracuse wide receivers coach Mike Johnson extended him an offer last week. Rivals rates him as a four-star prospect, and he's been committed to USC since 2021.

Syracuse also offered Meikhi Cuttino, a 2024 defensive back from Paramus (NJ) Catholic. His offers include Illinois, Michigan State, Purdue and West Virginia, among others.

Staying in 2024, Syracuse offered defensive lineman David McMorris from Gonzaga College High (DC). Among the schools to offer so far include Boston College, Pitt and UPenn.
