“We are excited to feature our last two TBT champions at the Syracuse Regional this year,” said TBT founder and CEO Jon Mugar in a release. “Both Syracuse and Buffalo always bring elite teams and I’m sure the other six teams in the region will be just as eager. We’re looking forward to presenting this in partnership with War Memorial and Visit Syracuse.”

Syracuse has hosted the TBT three previous times, butt his will be the first time it will be played at the Upstate Medical University Arena, reflecting the growing fan interest, according to the TBT.

“It is a pleasure to partner with TBT as we prepare for the fourth year of serving as a regional host,” said Visit Syracuse president, Danny Liedka. “The excitement surrounding the return of Boeheim’s Army will surely draw fans from near and far to discover and rediscover the Greater Syracuse area. Add to that the ESPN broadcast opportunity to showcase our community on the national stage, and there is cause for celebration for what we know will be an amazing and successful event.”

Tickets for the Syracuse Regional will go on sale on May 1 to members of TBT’s ticket waitlist, and on sale to the general public beginning May 4.
