Syracuse will not play in either the NCAA Tournament or the National Invitation Tournament. It is the third consecutive season Syracuse has not appeared in the postseason, the first time that's happened since 1967-1972.

The Orange finished 20-12 and posted an 11-9 ACC record, which landed them in a three-way tie for fifth place in the regular season standings.

They were eliminated by NC State in the second round of the ACC Tournament, 83-65, and the Wolfpack would go on to win a surprise berth to the NCAA Tournament by defeating top-seeded North Carolina.

Syracuse's postseason resume included a NET of 84 and a 7-11 record against Quadrant 1 and 2 teams.
