Four-star wide receiver Emanuel Ross commits to Syracuse

Syracuse landed a commitment from four-star wide receiver Emanuel Ross, he announced on social media.

Ross came to SU for an official visit this weekend, and he joined Jaylan Hornsby, Yasin Willis, Jahide Lesaine Jr. and Jackson Meeks as commits under new coach Fran Brown.

"They said that I'm their guy," he said to Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Adam Friedman. "I'm really excited to get over there because they're really excited about me. It was great to see a full coaching staff as excited as they were.

The Red Bank (NJ) Catholic star initially committed to Stanford on June 7, and is the ninth ranked prospect in the Garden State.

His offer sheet includes Duke, Illinois, Michigan State, Northwestern, Penn State, and Pitt, among many others.

In his junior season, Ross had 29 receptions for 615 yards and 11 touchdowns. Red Bank went 11-1 in 2023, and a perfect 5-0 in league play.

"Ross is a reliable receiver who has really upped his game over the last year," Friedman said. "Ross has a knack for making plays in big moments of the game and that could help him become a fan favorite at the next level."
