A pair of Keystone State prospects will be up at Syracuse for spring practice in April.

Hershey (PA) High's Michael Blidi, a linebacker, and Syncere Rascoe, an ATH (WR/DB) were invited up to Syracuse and will be on campus on April 1.

"I'm looking forward to touring the beautiful campus and seeing the facilities," Rascoe said in an interview with The Juice Online. "And being able to interact with coaches and get my name out there."

Blidi echoed the same sentiments.

"I am looking forward to the meeting the coaching staff," he said. "I also want to meet some of the players and hear what they like most about the program and school in general."

Blidi holds an offer from Abilene Christian and has drawn interest from Minnesota, UConn, and Cincinnati. If the last name sounds familiar, it's because Blidi's older brother, Philip, plays at Indiana.

Blidi is starting to fill into his body, and the 6-foot-2, 210-pound athlete finished with 15 tackles and two sacks in 2022, and also plays tight end.

Hershey is roughly a four hour drive from Central New York, and both Blidi and Rascoe followed Syracuse's 2022 season.

Said Rascoe: "I think Syracuse is a solid program and capable of finding out your strengths and building your weaknesses up to become the elite athlete you need to become to play on the next level."

"I think they have a good program," Blidi said. "They have some great NFL players that I’ve looked up to like Dwight Freeney and Chandler Jones who also play the same position as me. They have a growing program and even had a Top 25 appearance this year. I believe it’s only up from there."

Blidi's primary recruiter is defensive line coach Chris Achuff.

"He seems pretty energetic and probably everything you’d expect out of a D-line coach," he said. "I’m expecting great things when I meet him and the rest of the staff."

The teammates expect their recruitments to heat up soon.

"So far," Blidi said, "I’m just working hard until I get a chance to show what I can do next season."

Said Rascoe: "I know the blessings will come, especially with a whole season left."
