Earlier in the week Syracuse fans found out that Josh Manley was leaving Syracuse University. Last night there was another player on the Orange defensive line who has decided to leave.
James Washington a redshirt freshman linebacker took to Facebook with a post that sounded like he was leaving Syracuse. That post was later removed.
When asked if he was transferring Washington's reply was short.
"I am just on break," He said.
This morning though, he contacted CuseConfiential.com to make it clear that he was leaving the school.
"I'm confirming my transfer, but I choose not to interview about it. I wish the best of luck to my guys it's hard to leave family but I will continue playing football at an FCS school so I won't have to wait a year.
Washington, was a three star prospect coming out of high school and was part of the 2012 recruiting class for the Orange.
That original class from 2012 has had six member leave the football program early.
