Williams planning a fall official visit

Just a little under a month ago, the Syracuse Orange coaching staff decided to extend an offer to class of 2019 defensive end Justin Williams out of Florida.

Williams is listed as a 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive end target out of Armwood High School down in Seffner, Florida. He has been hearing quite a bit from the Orange and is continuing to build an already strong relationship with head coach Dino Babers.

“I got a call from coach Babers not too long ago,” Williams told CuseConfidential. “He told me that he saw my film from last year and the work I’ve been putting in now. After watching all of that he decided to offer me a scholarship and he said he thinks I can really help their defense.”

Even after receiving an offer from Coach Babers, he has been in constant contact with the class of 2019 defensive end.

“I’ve been speaking a lot back and forth with coach Babers,” he said. “I think he’s a great coach and someone who will always have his players back no matter what.”

Next up for Williams, he is planning a fall official visit to come up to Syracuse and check out the school in person.

“They haven’t sent me a date for when I can take my official, but I should be sometime during the season,” Williams said. “I’m really excited to get up there visit and check out the school. I really like the program and they have a great coaching staff over there.”

Despite only holding 10 offers currently, Williams is also hearing a lot from the likes of Maryland, Ohio, Western Michigan, Morgan State, and Wake Forest lately.
