2024 quarterback AJ Miller announced his commitment to Syracuse on Tuesday morning on social media.

Syracuse offered Miller as a PWO earlier in January, and he took an official visit to Central New York from Jan. 23-24.

"Loyalty," Miller said to The Juice Online about the reason why he committed. "The loyalty sold the deal."

He also cited Syracuse offensive coordinator Jeff Nixon as a factor in his commitment. Nixon had an in-home visit with Miller on Monday.

The Rye (NY) High signal caller threw for 2,948 yards and 28 touchdowns, completing 71 percent of his passes as the Garnets went 12-2 on the year.

Miller selected Syracuse over offers from Connecticut and Fordham, among others.

"I didn't know if I was going to come in and be another guy for the defense to get looks on and be a tackle dummy," Miller said following his OV. "No, I'm coming in to play quarterback. They made that very clear to me. The (QB) room is light and they're not trying to load the room. I didn't realize that."
