2025 four-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh is not a student-athlete at Syracuse, but he may own an Orange football record nonetheless.

The 38th overall Rivals recruit in the class visited Syracuse this weekend and spent extensive time with head coach Dino Babers. Marsh and his mother spoke to Babers in his office for nearly three hours chatting about everything from music to sports.

"I think we broke the record, they said," Marsh said to The Juice Online.

All joking aside, Marsh said he had a 'great' visit to Central New York this weekend, and got to see SU's spring scrimmage, tour the facilities and also meet with the coaching staff.

Aside from Babers, Marsh also spent time getting to know wide receivers coach Mike Johnson, and the two formed a strong bond.

"We were able to sit in the WR position room and look at my camp films in addition to go over some techniques," Marsh said. "I was really impressed. I see the knowledge he has and how he broke things down to me."

That discussion carried through to the Spring Game, when Marsh got to see exactly what Johnson was talking about in action.

"I saw some things we had talked about earlier and how I can translate that into my style of play right now," Marsh said. "Coach Johnson is a very good person and he cares about his players."

The Jordan High (TX) route runner, who caught 53 passes for 845 yards and 11 touchdowns as a sophomore, boasts an offer sheet that includes Houston, Oklahoma, Texas, UTSA, Oregon, Baylor, TCU and LSU.

Marsh said that Syracuse is certainly one of the schools he's considering, but said that it's early in his recruitment and there is a long timeline ahead to make a decision.

"I'm looking forward to getting back there one day soon," Marsh said about Syracuse. "But this is a process to make sure I’m getting to a place where I can grow and learn the game I love."
