Kentucky transfer offensive lineman David Wohlabaugh has committed to Syracuse, he announced on social media.

Wohlabaugh took an official visit to Syracuse this weekend, which was the final assurance he needed to commit. He entered the portal in April after two seasons at Kentucky and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

As a redshirt freshman in 2022, he appeared in eight games with one start in the season opener against Miami (OH).

Wohlabaugh is the son of Dave Wohlabaugh, who graduated from Syracuse in 1995 and would go on to play nine seasons in the NFL for the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns and St. Louis Rams.

He is also the younger brother of Jack Wohlabaugh, who played at Ohio State and Duke.

In the 2021 cycle, Wohlabaugh was rated a three-star prospect by Rivals, the No. 69 overall tackle as the No. 31 prospect in Ohio.

The Walsh Jesuit (OH) lineman was also named First-Team All-State by the Ohio Sportswriters Association in 2020.
