Between new offers and a large group of recruits being on campus, it was a busy week for Syracuse Football.

Here's a recap of what's happened recently.

2025 defensive lineman Sharlandiin Strange announced his commitment to Syracuse on Saturday afternoon. Strange held over 20 offers, and had whittled his list down to a final five of the Orange, Pitt, Penn State, Rutgers and USC.

2024 quarterback AJ Miller took an official visit to Syracuse on Tuesday and Wednesday, and came away with a completely changed perception of the school and coaching staff, he said to The Juice Online.

2025 ATH Jayden Loftin visited Syracuse this weekend, where he was re-offered by the staff. "I loved it," the three-star Somerville (NJ) High prospect said to The Juice Online about the visit.

2024 wide receiver/returner Solomon Martin from Providence Academy in Minnesota received an offer and during his visit to SU over the weekend. "(Syracuse is) definitely my top 3," Martin said to The Juice Online following the visit.

2025 offensive lineman Max Buchanan is a Rivals three-star prospect from Seminole (FL) High who holds more than two dozen offers, with Syracuse as one of his most recent. "I’m definitely excited to get to know the coaches at Syracuse better," he said to The Juice Online.

2024 South Carolina punter Coleman Franzone holds offers from Army, Charlotte, Connecticut and William & Mary, among others, and last week, he added a PWO offer from Syracuse and visited Central New York. "Loved the coaches and the energy in the building," he said to The Juice Online.

One of the top kickers in the 2024 class is Liam Padron from Bartram Trail in Florida. He holds PWO offers from Appalachian State and Troy, and earlier in the week, he added his first P5 offer from Syracuse. He plans on taking an OV to Syracuse on Feb. 2.
