Syracuse Recruiting Roundup: April 17, 2023

Syracuse offered several prospects in the past week and also hosted several others with offers on campus recently. Here's a look at another very busy week in the Orange recruiting world as we get closer to the AmeriCU Spring Game.

2024 defensive back Clinton Robinson is one of the top prospects in Pennsylvania. The Keystone Oaks (PA) High athlete holds offers from West Virginia, Akron, Miami (OH) and Temple, among others, and received his latest offer from Syracuse this weekend. Our Charles Kang caught up with him after about his offer and visit.

Elite 2024 Long Beach (CA) Poly wide receiver Jason Robinson Jr. visited Syracuse over the weekend. Robinson holds more than two dozen offers, and Syracuse was one of five schools he visited, or will visit this spring. Our Charles Kang spoke with him following his visit.

One of the fastest rising prospects in the 2025 class is dual-threat quarterback Hype Grand. The Rivals three-star signal caller picked up his first SEC offer from Texas A&M in March and a Syracuse offer last week. He spoke with our Charles Kang about the offer.

2024 offensive lineman Jack Small was on the Syracuse campus for a second look at the school last week after he picked up an offer from the Orange in January. Since then, he's collected double-digit offers from a list that includes Connecticut, Fordham, Penn, Dartmouth, Army, Princeton and Bryant. Small chatted with our Charles Kang about the latest with his recruitment.

2026 ATH D'Antae Sheffey from State College (PA) Area holds a Syracuse offer, and visited Central New York over the weekend. He also holds offers from Cincinnati, Pitt and Virginia Tech among others. He speaks to our Charles Kang about the visit and the latest on his recruitment.

Elite 2025 wide receiver David Rodriguez was on the Syracuse campus this weekend, and the highly coveted prospect talks to our Charles Kang about how it went. His offer list of roughly two dozen schools includes Arizona, Baylor, Georgia, Kentucky and Maryland.

Rivals three-star wide receiver Ta'Ron Haile dropped his top 8 on Tuesday afternoon, and Syracuse made the cut. Old Dominion, Maryland, Pitt, Penn State, JMU, West Virginia and UConn rounded out the other seven schools. Our Charles Kang breaks down the latest on his recruitment.

2026 defensive back Jordan Thomas was first offered by Syracuse earlier in the year, and spoke about his Central New York visit with our Charles Kang. Penn State is another school to have offered him.

2025 Granite Bay (CA) High running back Carter Jackson is one of the most sought after recruits in Northern California. The Rivals three-star running back holds offers from Arizona, Cal, Utah and Syracuse among others, and talked about his Syracuse visit with our Charles Kang.
