New Jersey's top rated prospect, 2024 running back Yasin Willis, has committed to Syracuse.

Willis originally committed to Pittsburgh on July 29, and is rated a four-star prospect and the 191st overall prospect in his class.

"I was surrounded the whole weekend with guys like me and from where I come from," Willis said to Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Adam Friedman. "With guys like that, who have a better understanding of what's going on, I felt comfortable. Coach Fran made it feel like it was home."

The 6-foot-1, 218-pound athlete picked Syracuse over offers from Louisville, Michigan, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Penn State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, among many others.

New Syracuse head coach Fran Brown said he would prioritize New Jersey, and he's done that, landing a commitment from star wide receiver Jaylan Hornsby, and now Willis.
