Kradel checks out Syracuse

Over the weekend Syracuse hosted many targets for the 2018 recruiting class. One prospect that was there who is familiar with the Orange is three star offensive lineman Jake Kradel.

“The Visit was great. I liked talking to Coach Babers, Coach Lynch, Coach Ferri, and Coach McPherson. It was good to talk about what there doing up at Syracuse and how there going to be winning in the near future.”

This was not the first time Kradel has been on campus and he mentioned that.

“Syracuse Offered back in summer. I am very interested in Syracuse University, I think it's a great opportunity,” Kradel stated. “I like everything about Syracuse; it's an all around great school starting with academics and than athletics.”

On Rivals.com the offensive line target is listed as a tackle prospect, but fits in other spots for Syracuse.

“They like me best at guard or possibly center. I project out as more of an interior lineman, due to my size.”

Reno Ferri is in charge of recruiting Kradel and so far he looks to have the Orange in good position.

“Coach Ferri is recruiting me and we have a great relationship we talk very frequently, and he'll come visit me at school when he's in town.”

Where do the Orange stand at the early juncture of recruiting?

“They are up towards the top of my list,” Kradel said. “The other schools I am interested in are Penn State, NC State, Toledo, UNC, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Pitt.”
