The sudden realization that quarterback JD Johnson would have to medically retire hurt Michigan in a number of ways and left Jim Harbaugh and his staff scrambling to find a viable quarterback in this class. The Wolverines scoured the country and landed on a little known prospect by the name of Dan Villari out of Massapequa (N.Y.) Plainedge Senior.
