ESPN's Andrea Adelson has been coming on our podcast for more than a decade, and last year around this time, she was one of the few national football writers putting Syracuse in the podcast.

We welcomed Andrea back on this week's The Juice on the Cuse Podcast, presented by Rivals.com, and she's bullish about SU's chances of returning to the postseason this year. The key will be a three-game stretch in the middle of the season, when the Orange plays Clemson, North Carolina and Florida State.

"Yes (Syracuse will make a) bowl game this year," Andrea says, "and I think there's a possibility for more depending on what happens during that stretch."

Andrea also gives us the latest in realignment, weighs in on the possibility of Stanford, California and SMU joining the Atlantic Coast Conference, and talks about the top ACC challengers to Clemson.

Afterward, I speak with former Syracuse linebacker and captain Jake Flaherty, who gives his win/loss predictions, and also what to expect from the defense this year under new defensive coordinator Rocky Long.
