Quadir Copeland sent the Syracuse fans home happy on Saturday at the JMA Wireless Dome. As time expired, Copeland drained a 3-pointer from the left wing to send the Orange to a 72-69 win over Miami.
Syracuse improved to 13-5 on the season and 4-3 in conference play, and is a perfect 9-0 at home for the first time since the 2014 season. Copeland finished with 11 points, while JJ Starling hit six 3-pointers on the way to a game-high 22 points.
We discussed the win on today's Juice on the Cuse Podcast, presented by Bleav and Rivals. Of note, the Orange has jumped seven spots to 69th in the NET rankings as it tries to beef up its resume for the NCAA Tournament.
We also spoke with 2024 quarterback AJ Miller, who received a Syracuse PWO offer earlier in the week. He will be taking an official visit to Central New York beginning on Tuesday.
