Syracuse improved to 4-0 on Saturday with a 29-16 win over Army. It's the first time since Syracuse joined the Big East in 1991 that the Orange went undefeated in non-conference play, and also drew a season-high 37,594 fans.
SU hosted a large group of prospects for the game and we spoke with several recruits about their visit...
"Was amazing. The game and atmosphere were was awesome but what really stood out was the coaching and recruiting staff. Coaches Achuff, Harris, and Campanile were great. Gino Gigliotti, Tyler Brewer and recruiting staff were always looking out for us before during and after the game. Was invited back up and I’m going to do everything I can to get up there again this season."
"I loved the game day atmosphere. I loved the hospitality of the assistants and everyone I met. Definitely would say Syracuse remains a top choice for me. I would love to come to another game."
"The game was very entertaining. The energy they had on the sidelines in the game and even the crowd it was all just really good. I was also right behind there sideline and could see how good the coaching was and how the players all always had a high energy."
""Not only was it a great entrance, the players were so pumped and ready for the game. It was a great experience."
"The visit was great. The facility and the hip around everyone made me feel like it was a good environment."
"Game day was great. The Dome was really loud and it was good to see that Syracuse Football has a good fanbase."
"It was amazing. It made me like Syracuse 10 times more than I already did."
"It was very loud. Just how a football game should be. And I enjoyed it from the stands so I can only imagine how the players felt."
And one note before we close out the roundup: Syracuse added to its 2024 class, as Buffalo ATH Ja'Meer Thomas committed to SU over offers from Akron, Maine, Merrimack and Stony Brook.
