2024 ATH Ja'Meer Thomas commits to Syracuse

2024 ATH Ja'Meer Thomas committed to Syracuse, according to a report from The Buffalo News.

Thomas stars at Bennett High in Buffalo, and the defensive back/wide receiver is coming off a season where he was First-Team All-State and a Class AA State Champion.

He gained 1,941 all-purpose yards and 21 touchdowns on offense and added 32 tackles and four passes defended on defense.

Thomas selected Syracuse over offers from Akron, Maine, Merrimack and Stony Brook.

He also attended Syracuse Elite Camp over the summer and got a feel for the campus, facilities and coaching staff.

"Wonderful," Thomas said to The Juice Online about the experience. "I had a great time when I came to visit the campus. It was a beautiful experience."

He becomes the 18th commit in Syracuse's 2024 recruiting class.
