Though Torrence has used four years of eligibility, he has an additional year because of the 2020-21 season, which was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Torrence, who grew up in Syracuse, was the No. 90 recruit out of high school and rated four stars by Rivals.

Binghamton went 13-18 and 8-8 in America East conference play last year. They were defeated, 79-57, by Vermont in the America East semifinals.
