Syracuse Offer Analysis: 2025 F London Jemison

Syracuse and new coach Adrian Autry have been ambitious and highly active in the class of 2025. Already having offered nine guards and six forwards, headlined by players like Darryn Peterson (No. 2), Darius Adams (21), Niko Bundalo (22), and Jerry Easter (25). On Tuesday, Syracuse added to that list, offering London Jemison.

Jemison is a 6-foot-8 inch forward/wing out of St. Thomas More High School in Oakdale, CT. Currently, unranked on the Rivals ratings, Jemison has been picking up a lot of traction lately.

The wing has received offers from Virginia, Xavier, Providence, St. John's, Yale, Fairfield, and most recently, Villanova.

SCOUTING REPORT

Jemison is a highly intriguing prospect; his build alone stands out. Standing a 6 foot 8, 185 lbs., Jemison is the perfect body type and size for a “modern-day” wing. With that, his size allows him to be a force on both ends of the floor.

Defensively, he has such a long reach that he not only clogs up passing lanes but is a nightmare of an on-ball defender. With a long reach and quick footwork, he can guard guys out on the permitter and in the paint. He can chase and stay competitive with guards running through PNRs and can hold his own in the low post.

Going the other way, Jemison is a dominant floor-spacing slasher archetype. With impressive vertical, ball- handle, strength, and speed he can drive through the lane and finish strong at the basket, typically dunking on whatever unfortunate low post defender trying to defend.

By no means is Jemison a one-way offensive threat, he can also stretch the floor well. With a smooth pull-up jumper, it would be a mistake to give him a foot or two of space on the wings or at the top of the arc. This is where he takes most of his pull-up 3s.

He is also a major catch and shoot threat from the corner, which is the most important aspect of his game as it opens the baseline allowing him to slash to the basket.

The versatile wing had very impressive sophomore season with Northwest Catholic (CT) last year, posting multiple 25+ point games, and on top of that, several double doubles. This past spring, Jemison announced that he will be transferring to St. Thomas More, and over the summer, the dual threat played great for his Nike EYBL team, Expressions Elite.

Jemison looks will look to shoot up the national rankings over the next couple of years, and with his modern-day skill set and attribute, he almost certainly will.
