2024 Don Bosco Prep (NJ) linebacker Jayden Brown committed to Syracuse, he announced on social media.

Ranked a three-star linebacker by Rivals and the No. 16 overall recruit in the state, he selected the Orange over offers from West Virginia, Purdue, Duke and Boston College, among others.

He previously visited Syracuse in March, and took an official visit to Central New York earlier in June.

"It was great," Brown said to The Juice Online about the OV. "I loved it there and all the coaches made me feel at home."

Brown has impressed coaches around the country with how fast he is to the ball and how he is a leader on the field. The linebacker has previously told Rivals he wants to find a college program that is going to provide a home atmosphere and a place where he has a connection with the coaching staff.

He appears to have found that home with Syracuse.

"Definitely the coaches and the way the players are tight to each other," Brown said when asked about his favorite part about the Orange.

Brown joins Braheem Long, Brendan Zurbrugg, Jamie Tremble, Clinton Robinson, Jaden Hart, Zekai Wimberly, David McMorris, Trashon Dye, Travon Dye, Tristen Graham and Noah Rosahac as commitments in Syracuse's 2024 class.
