2024 three-star offensive lineman Willie Goodacre from Guyer (TX) High committed to Syracuse on Monday, he announced on Dave Campbell's Texas Football's YouTube channel.

He committed to the Orange over finalist Kansas, and held an offer sheet of approximately two dozen schools that also included Arizona State, California, Houston, and Tulane.

"Coach (Steve) Farmer is an amazing attraction," Goodacre said to The Juice Online. "He's a great developer. And the people there. The people are as genuine as people make them out to be."

Goodacre also found the Xs and Os to be a good match.

"Our school and Syracuse run a very similar offense," Goodacre said. "I think high school would be a smooth transition to college."

Goodacre joins Michael Matthews-Canty, Jakhari Williams, Jayden Brown, Braheem Long, Brendan Zurbrugg, Jamie Tremble, Clinton Robinson, Jaden Hart, Zekai Wimberly, David McMorris, Trashon Dye, Travon Dye, Tristen Graham and Noah Rosahac as commitments in Syracuse's 2024 class.
