2024 Georgia quarterback Jakhari Williams committed to Syracuse, he announced on social media.

Williams, a former Georgia Tech commit, selected the Orange over offers from Boston College, NC State, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech, among others.

The Rivals three-star prospect took an official visit to Syracuse over the weekend.

Williams, a dual-threat quarterback, said he's been putting time in the offseason to improving his throwing.

"I have been working on being more consistent, and being more accurate from anywhere," Wlliams said in a previous interview with Rivals. "I want to become a better pocket passer and QB overall, too."

Williams finished his junior season with 2,384 yards passing, 1,018 yards rushing, and 35 total TD.

He committed to the Yellow Jackets in November 2022 under then-interim coach Brent Key, but reopened his recruitment in May following turnover in staff.

Williams joins Jayden Brown, Braheem Long, Brendan Zurbrugg, Jamie Tremble, Clinton Robinson, Jaden Hart, Zekai Wimberly, David McMorris, Trashon Dye, Travon Dye, Tristen Graham and Noah Rosahac as commitments in Syracuse's 2024 class.
