Syracuse received a commitment from 2024 tight end Jamie Tremble, he announced on social media.
The Wesleyan (GA) athlete picked the Orange over offers from over a dozen offers, including Mississippi State, Duke, and Wake Forest.
"I think the No. 1 reason is how they'd use me and utilize my skill set," Tremble said to The Juice Online. "Also, a big thing for me and my family is education. They have a good education. Those are probably the biggest factors."
The Rivals three-star prospect took an official visit on the weekend of June 9, which went very well. After the visit, Tremble said that Syracuse "definitely boosted themselves really high" in his recruitment.
The coaching staff prioritized Tremble, who they see as an athletic tight end that can create mismatch problems as a receiver, similar to how they use All-ACC tight end Oronde Gadsden II.
"They said as soon as he leaves, I'd come in and take his spot," Tremble said in a previous interview. "They said, 'we'd use you just like we used him.'"
Tremble is the fourth commit from Syracuse's official visitor list from the June 9 weekend, joining defensive back Clinton Robinson, running back Jaden Hart and ATH Zekai Wimberly.
Other commitments in Syracuse's 2024 class include David McMorris, Trashon Dye, Travon Dye, Tristen Graham and Noah Rosahac.
