Can SU land Smith

Usually this time of year Syracuse fans have started to turn their focus on basketball because football is over. This year though it has been delayed an extra week because the Orange finally have a vested interest in watching high school all star games.
Tonight there are two games, you have the Under Armour All-American game (5 p.m. on ESPN} and then you have the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl (9 p.m. on NFL Network) featuring three players Syracuse is interested in.

First up is obviously the Under Armour game where four star defensive end/outside linebacker Ebenezer Ogundeko will make his decision between Syracuse and Clemson during the game. Ogundeko has been back and forth all recruiting process, but one overall constant was Syracuse. From people that CuseConfidential.com spoke with this week it does sound like Syracuse will be the destination.
Then later on the Semper Fidelis game has Syracuse commitment Tyler Provo and un-committed prospect Laray Smith who will pick his school during the game.
For Syracuse the two un-committed prospects could mean a lot for the Orange. If they both pick Syracuse it means that they locked down the players that they wanted from the Empire State. If Ogundeko picks Syracuse it will be one of the highest rated kids in over a decade to pick the Orange.
