2024 ATH KingJoseph Edwards committed to Syracuse on Tuesday, he revealed during an announcement ceremony.
The Mill Creek (GA) prospect selected Syracuse over 30 offers and finalists Florida State and Colorado.
Edwards just led his Mill Creek team to a 12-1 season in one of Georgia's most competitive regions, where he plays both defensive line and tight end. He will play on the defensive side of the ball at Syracuse.
Edwards got a closer look at Central New York on an official visit two weekends ago, where he saw the facilities, toured campus, and met the new coaching staff.
He also spent time reconnecting with defensive line coach Nick Williams, his primary recruiter at Colorado.
"What I admire about the program is their ambition to improve and be better," Edwards said in a previous interview with The Juice Online. "They have to build and they have the team of coaches to do it."
